Greetings ladies and gentlemen! My name is Hunter Korman! A 18 year old self-published (currently) author! My entire life I have been experimenting with different forms of content creation and creativity, yet it was writing that stuck with me the most! Which is why I have now dedicated my life towards that very thing!
My main mission is to use the gift I’ve been given by God to glorify His name. Accomplished through different projects I create, representing the vast power of creativity! Creativity is a universal element that every single person has, and uses, all the time. Some aren’t always able to see that, but it’s true.
Where am I From?
Somewhere in the United States. More specifically Pennsylvania. I can’t tell you more, as there are a lot of REALLY weird people out there. I’d prefer to remain alive.
What are Some of my Hobbies?
When I’m not staring at a computer screen, I like to be outside golfing, fly fishing, hiking, camping, and much more! I primarily golf the most, but I’m still not very good. (Like…at all!) When I’m stuck inside I’ll workout, read, and play video games with my friends!
What Have I Created?
I have created a multitude of different things, but my primary projects have been my YouTube channel and novels. My YouTube channel (started in 2021) named Squidfish was the hub for all my cringey, but also well edited, gaming content. My novels began with the fantasy series known as The Squidfish Saga! Sometime in 2014
A Spark is Lit
Inspired by the comics of Captain Underpants, by Dav Pilky, and introduced to the concept of paper…I began creating numerous comics! All unreadable due to my terrible handwriting!
Sometime in 3rd Grade (2017-2019)
Creation of the Comic Crew
Inspired by my comics, my friend group began to make their own. Prompting the creation of our “comic club” named the Comic Crew. All of us wanting to be authors in the future. This, sadly, was very short lived. Everyone fell away from writing, except me.
Sometime in 8th Grade
(2020-2021)
Creating my First Novel
After departing from comic creation, my true enjoyment came in the form of creating full length READABLE stories. The first being: “Corrupt Kingdom,” beginning The Squidfish Saga!
2022-Present
The Current Era
Not long after my first novel I created another. Self publishing both through the Amazon KDP software. At this current moment new books are being created, plans for secret projects, changes in publishing (hopefully) and much more are on the horizon!
